OUR NO BUSY SIGNAL POLICY

. We have a NO busy signal policy. That means that we will do everything under our control to avoid letting our system become overloaded and by so doing, produce busy signals.

We have INSTALLED enough additional dial-up lines and access routers to prevent busy signals from happening under almost any (99%) conditions. We can't say that it can never happen. NO ISP can say that unless they have a dedicated line for EACH AND EVERY ONE of their customers. A VERY impractical solution that would force ANY ISP to charge you over $200.00 per month for your dial-up access.

Busy signals are the most frustrating thing that can happen to you when you are trying to get on the net. We know that ALL TOO WELL and have recently added a lot of extra capacity so that we can stay far ahead of the factors that produce them. Rather than crying about HOW SLOW the phone company is, we made sure that the next time we reach a point where busy's become an approaching problem, we have equipment ready in advance so that our reaction time can be measured in hours, rather than weeks. This was not cheap, easy or fast but we think that it was well worth it.

Many of you came to Caprok Internet because the ISP's you left had busy signals. (They still do) We have not forgotten that and we never will. Our system is now back to normal and we pledge to keep it that way. We have already placed an advance order for more lines in March and even more in June. Our modem ratio is now 4:1 and will never be allowed to exceed 7:1

NO OTHER LOCAL ISP CAN OR WILL SAY THAT.

As always we try to keep you well informed as to what we are doing with the system.
