Frequently Asked Questions
How can I reduce scrolling?
If you are viewing the course in a resolution of 640 by 480, consider increasing the resolution to 800 by 600 or larger.
Another way to reduce scrolling is by turning off your browser's toolbar and location display.
You can also reduce scrolling by reducing the size of the fonts your browser displays. If you are using Netscape, set the proportional font to Arial, size 11 and set the fixed font to Courier New, size 9. If you are using Internet Explorer, set the font to Medium, Small or Smallest.
How do I use the application-based exercises?
Some courses contain exercises that allow you to practice a procedure in the actual application being taught. You need to have the application installed on your PC. Open the application, and size the application window and the course window so that you can view them simultaneously.
I've answered some questions, but why don't my scores show?
You must answer every question in a unit before your scores are calculated. From the Scores page, you can display a list of the questions you haven't answered.
How can I print pages with white text on a blue background?
If you are using Netscape and would like to print a page containing white text, select Page Setup from the File menu, select the Black Text page option, and click OK.
