Before You Begin
You'll remember how to make image maps better if you get an image of your own and turn it into an image map as you read the following explanation.
| For starters, choose a fairly large image that is visually divided into roughly rectangular regions. |
| If you don't have a suitable image handy, use Paint Shop Pro (or your favorite graphics program) to make one. One easy and useful idea is to put a word or icon for each of your important pages together into a button bar or signpost. |
