Macintosh Dialer Setup for MacTCP

Make sure you have these components before continuing these setup instructions.


• MacTCP 2.0.4 or higher
• At least 8 MB of Ram
• 9600bps or faster modem.

After you have the necessary components, you can begin the configurations.


1. Unless you have a clean copy of MacTCP, go to the System folder on your hard disk.
2. Find the file MacTCP DNR and drag it to the Trash.
3. Open the Preferences Folder and find the PPP preferences and drag it to the Trash.

MACPPP freeware

MacTCP is a commercial product. The location for the freeware MacPPP is at ftp://ftp.merit.edu/internet.tools/ppp/mac
