The purpose of BuildingBlocks is to provide skeletal HTML documents to make web site developement a tad bit faster. Simply pick the type of HTML document you wish to create from the selection of BuildingBlocks then highlight the text with your mouse and right-click to "copy" (left-click for us lefthanders) and paste the code into your favorite HTML editor or (as I prefer) notepad. Fill in the ##### fields or other content-sensitive areas with your information and *PRESTO-MAGIC* you have yourself an HTML page!
Along with plain HTML, I've collected and created quite a few useful JavaScript scripts (unfortunately, I'm behind in transcribing them). I'm constantly updating this page, so if you're looking for something in particular and can't find it here, drop me a line.
Note: I find that I use BuildingBlocks when I can't remember certain JavaScript routines (Who am I kidding? I don't have any JS memorized!) but I would advise you to not get addicted when it comes to using the HTML 'plates. If you are a serious HTMLer, I highly suggest hand-coding everything for the first year or so of web page authoring. This way, you learn it by heart and have a huge advantage over those who use WYSIWYG editors or even quazi-WYSIWYGs. I've noticed more and more job descriptions begging for manual-coding of HTML...
