SELLERS. You must be of legal age (18) to use this Auction. If you put an item up for bid you are legally obligated to sell it to the successfull bidder at the close of the auction.If you do not honor this rule you will be barred from any future participation in the Caprok Online Auction. After a successful sale, you will be invoiced for 2% of the selling price for each Item you sell with the total proceeds collected, minus expenses, to be donated to a Permian Basin charity or service organization to be determined by a consensus of Caprok Internet Subscribers. EVERYBODY - All users who wish to place an item up for bid or users who wish to bid must register and receive an instant password and user name. Buyers will be notified by Email if they have been outbid or if they are the successfull bidder on each item. Sellers will be notified by Email at the close of each Auction with information about the successfull bidder and will contact the buyer to arrange payment and or shipping details within 3 days.You must read the legal section before entering the Auction.

• Bidding on an item:

  To place a bid, simply select the item from the category list. The item description page has a bid form on the bottom of it. You are required to provide a valid e-mail address with your bid, as well as your full name and address. This information will only be given to the seller in the event you are the high bidder.

  All bids are placed in whole (US) dollar bid increments. The minimum amount you must bid to be the current high bidder is listed on the item description page.

  Payment terms are to be agreed upon between buyer and seller. Caprok Internet Auction is not involved in the transaction. Caprok Internet Auction acts solely as a listing agent and is not involved in the actual transaction.

  Please bid carefully. Once you make a bid, you may not retract it. In other words: if you don't want to pay for it, don't bid!

  Starting your own auction:

    Select "Post New Item" on the auction page under the category that best fits your item, and fill out the simple form.

  Use a short descriptive title and a complete description. You may link to a photo of your item by including an image URL for your photo. Photos should be no larger than 200x200 pixels, if you do not understand how to place the photo by url please ask us for help before you post your item to auction. Remember to include the condition of the item, payment and shipping information, and any other information the buyer should know.

  You should set the starting bid for your auction at the lowest price you are willing to sell your item. The minimum bid a buyer can make will be $1 above your starting bid (A $0 starting bid means the first bidder could bid as low as $1). To get your action started, it is a good idea to set the starting bid a little lower than you might think. If your starting bid is too high, people may not bid. Remember: the minimum price you specify indicates the minimum amount you will accept to sell the item.

  By posting an item on the auction page, you signify your intention to sell the item. In other words: if you don't want to sell it, don't place it up for bid! Sellers are prohibited from bidding on their own items and from manipulating the price of any item they are selling.

  You are required to provide a valid e-mail address with your bid which will be linked to your posting. You must also provide your full name and address, which will only be given to the buyer when the auction closes.

  Caprok Internet Auction Legal Information

  Caprok Internet Auction reserves the right to remove inappropriate items from the auction

    Auctions may last from 1 to 14 days from the placement of the listing, based on the duration the seller selects at the time the ad is placed (a maximum of 7 days is recommended). Auctions are automatically terminated at the end of that time, and the high bidder and seller are notified by e-mail. During the auction a complete bidding history is available on the item description page. Buyer and seller should try to contact each other within three days of the end of the auction.Payment terms are to be agreed upon between buyer and seller. It is the seller & the buyers responsibility to keep track of the buyer or seller name and email information. Save it when you receive it we do not keep this information.

  All bidders and buyers that purchase any items or products from Caprok Internet Auction, purchase said item, by the terms of this agreement. All bidders and buyers hereby release, waive, indemnify and covent not to sue or take any legal action against Caprok Internet Auction, its officers, owners, shareholders, directors, agents, employees, lessors, representatives, co-sponsors, heirs, and successors, all for the purposes herein referred to as "seller", regarding any and all liability to the bidder and buyer, my personal representative, heirs, successors and assigns, for any and all loss or damage in any claim or demands on account of injury to the person or property, or resulting in the death or monetary loss to the bidder and buyer, whether caused by negligence or other wrongful act or omission of the releases or otherwise which may occur, directly or indirectly from the purchase or the use of the merchandise, vehicles, and/or electronic facilities of Caprok Internet Auction. The bidder and buyer, further expressly agrees that this release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by Federal law and State law, and if any portion is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect. The bidder and buyer also acknowledges that unless otherwise stated, all merchandise is purchased in refurbished, or returned condition.
