We have an issue to vote on about the trophys for this years races. We have found a source for new race tags for 1st 2nd and 3rd place. They are made out of mylar and are engraved by computer. They will be black with white lettering and are very precise and clean. The cost will be .08 cents a piece. for the tags The headers with the club name will be .75 cents a piece. The series tags will cost .20 cents a piece.And each class name tag wil cost .20 cents And each points tag willcost .75 cents a piece.
So a full trophy will cost around 7.54 depending on the cost of the wood plaque.
Now we have a racer working at our curent trophy provider and he has assured us that the quality of trophy provided will be cleaner and straighter and the same lettering.The cost for the race tags for 1st 2nd and 3rd cost $1.00 a piece. The header with the club name is $1.50 a piece. The series tags cost $1.25 a piece. And the class name tags will cost $1.50 a piece. And the points tag $2.00 each.
So a full trophy will cost 11.75 depending on the cost of the wood plaque.
Both of these have the cost of a $5.00 wood plaque and is an estimate from Todd.
