It will be hot and humid. Average summer temperatures are mid to high 90’s. |
Don’t worry – we have air conditioning. All rental cars will have air conditioning. Our outdoor activities will include misters, gator ade and lots of ice. |

There will be a lot of sun – from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm. |
Please bring sun screen. We have lots of shade trees, a big shaded porch; however… |

Texas weather is unpredictable. |
We do not live in a flood plain. |

Texas has lots of small mosquitoes. |
Well, you will be at the Lake. Please bring repellant. |
| There is poison ivy on the property. | We will spray aggressively in the spring to eliminate this problem, however... We do have ointment and “anti-itching” pills. |
| There are no snakes or ticks. | Yes, it is country. |
| There will be wild flowers & fresh mowed lawn. | Allergy suffers beware. |
| The property is fenced and gated. | Bring your companion pets if you wish. Our old dog Pugsley gets along with all animals. |
| Texans dress casual in summer. | Even Church Goers occasionally
wear the Hawaiian shirt with their Dockers. |
| Despite our best efforts there are grass burrs and broken glass in the lawn. | |
