Prayer to the Maker It's amazing what you can find in woodpiles. The log for this one came out of my in-laws wood pile, and I have it on good authority that it's apple. (It was certinly hard enough.) I saw his mohawk in a fan of sucker branches and asked for the log. I also found out the chips from it were great for the bbq pit. It's finished in tung oil.
