A Blast From The Past! Back to Breckenridge 1990 Johnny Rister makes an early arrival at Breckenridge in the Navion/L-17A. For several years the tower was located next to the runway. That allowed elevated shots like these. Nice pass! Here an AT-6 makes a low pass. Often the arrivals would make a pass or two. If not paying attention a warbird would blow past before having the camera ready. A C-45 comes in with a nice late afternoon pass. Lone Star Flight Museum brought the F6F-5 Hellcat from Galveston. Another pass before breaking to land was in order. Don Talley arrived in his new YAK-11 restoration. It was great to see a Russian aircraft at the airshow.   Wiley Sanders had his AD-4N Skyraider attend. The Skyraider 124156/N91935 made the trip from Troy, AL. Wiley Sanders had not one but two AD-4N Skyraiders attend. This one 123827/N23827 had served in Korea on the carrier USS Valley Forge.
