A Blast From The Past!

 Back to Breckenridge 1990

Elmo Hahn brought his P-51D Mustang 44-72339/N51EH from Michigan. This Mustang at one time served with the Swedish Air Force. Hahn sold the Mustang to Jim Cavanaugh. The aircraft is flown often with the CFM and registered N251JC.

As always, Howard Pardue was actively flying. Here Howard is on take-off in his Hawker Fury N666HP.

Harry Tope arrived in his Mustang "Death Rattler". Tragically, Tope was killed only a few months later at an airshow.

Jim Priebe arrived in his P-51D Mustang 44-74453/N151JP. "Glamourous Jen" has a new owner and name "Glamouous Gal".

Nelson Ezell in Bill Hubbs P-51D Mustang 44-74445/N4132A. The Mustang has been owned by Hubbs since 1969 and still carries the civilian paint scheme.

Seemingly always outside Nelson Ezell's hangar aircraft are receiving attention. What a thrill to get a look at the restoration projects.

The C.A.F. had the P-47D Thunderbolt present. 45-53436/N47TB had not been overly active but with Cavanaugh's sponsorship that should change along with new paint scheme.
