Bombers Up Close! Ralph Royce brings LSFM's B-17G up to the PBJ-1J. B-17G (44-85718/N900RW) appeared in the movie "The War Lover". The CAF's "Texas Raiders" flies in the Tora act. This B-17G (44-83872/N7227C) is based at Houston TX. N7227C flies along Johnny Rister's L-17 enroute to Houston. It is an awesome site to see the B-17G in the air. David Tallichet's B-17 is seen at the CAF's Airsho. While not the original "Memphis Belle" it does carry the markings.   The CAF's "Sentimental Journey" is based at Mesa AZ. This B-17G (44-83514/N9323Z) is flown quite often. Bob Pond operates B-17G (44-85778/N3509G). Based at Palm Springs CA, "Miss Angela" comes around for a pass. "Chuckie" is a B-17G (44-8543/N3710G) that is owned by Doc Hospers of Fort Worth TX.
