Purchase date: July 22, 1983 (Original Owner)

It's a 1983 Pontiac TransAm 25th Anniversary Daytona 500 Special Edition.  All original and completely stock as it came from the factory. I bought it off the showroom floor in July of 1983. The engine is a 5.0 litre V8 with cross-fire injection. It has the full Ricaro package, seats, carpets, etc. It also has extra heavy duty suspension. I still have the window sticker. I paid $22,500. It has been garaged with a car cover, most of its life.

Tim Roys' '86 IROC
Location: Midland, Texas
A true "Found in a barn" story.

This showroom new 1986 IROC didn't stay this new just from being pampered. Back in 1986, when this car was new, it was stolen. The thief was caught, but wouldn't reveal the location of the car. Finally, in 1996, the car was discovered in a barn. It was issued a new VIN by the state of Texas and was then purchased by a man at the local impound yard, where it has sat until Tim found out about it. It has 16,835 original miles, WOW! It's a beautiful example of what an IROC should look like. It's 99.99% original and flawless. The door decals hadn't survived the Texas sun over the last 6 years, so we put him a new set on. Tim has detailed it and it will be garage-kept from now on. I've looked this car over well and it's like a trip back to the showroom in '86!
