SANDHILLS STOCK SHOW AND RODEO

LET US INTRODUCE OURSELVES:

WHO?      The SandHills Stock Show & Rodeo is a non-profit organization consisting of over 250 proud and active volunteers bringing together livestock, youth, families, and World Champions.  During two Weeks of competitive events, over three million dollars is generated for the Permian Basin.

WHAT?      The 1999 SandHills Stock Show & Rodeo, extablished in 1933, hosts the only pure bred Hereford Show in Texas!  Our rodeo was ranked in the top 5% of the PRCA rodeos, with the total prize money of $131,280.00 among the 742 National PRCA Rodeos.  Almost 800 professional cowboys and cowgirls on the road to the National Finals, start their yearly competition here in Odessa.

WHERE?      Ector County Coliseum, 4201 Andrews Highway, Odessa, Texas.  The fantastic facilities will accommodate over 2,000 participants and more than 30,000 spectators during the SandHills Show season.

WHY?             With the help of generous individuals like you, we are able to benefit youth by providing over $65,000.00 in                           scholarship and prize money eachh year.  Our mission is to operate for charitable and educational purposes.
