Dallas/Ft. Worth would be the destination airport for worldly travelers while those of us who fly the peanut route (Southwest Airlines) should  arrive at Love Field in Dallas.  There should be plenty of transportation available to & from the airport & to town, etc. so that you don't have to rent a car.
