The three images above were shot
in October 1998 in Custer State Park located in South Dakota. There
is no lack of wildlife subjects to observe and photograph in this
state run park. The wildlife loop within this park yields many good
photo opportunities. On these particular images, I used my Canon EOS
A2 with my Tokina 400mm f/5.6 lens. By using Kodak's E200 chrome film
combined with good early morning light, I was able to handhold my
camera and lens for these shots. The prairie dog and bison are
closely interconnected in the field of nature's ecosystem.
