Here you are seeing my personal favorite images and the most challenging to photograph. The image of the praying mantis on the Agave cactus was made using my Canon EOS A2 camera and my Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens. Velvia rated at 50 ISO was used on this image. The images of the green darners (dragonflies) and the blue damselflies were shot using a combination of zoom lenses and extension tubes. My favorite type of photography is definitely in the field of macro and attempting to capture the tiny players in nature on film.
